Former olympians reach district jail for playing gambling

Lahore: Police have arrested 8 people including former olympians for playing gambling  in the city.All the gamblers were produced before the judicial magistrate court in Model Town courts today.The judge did not entertain their  bail application  and all the Pakistan Hockey stars were being sent to jail on judicial remand for 14 days.

Former olympians Qamar Ibrahim,Danish Kaleem,Kamran Ashraf,Anjum Saeed, Rana Zaheer,Irfan Zia,Sohail Ashraf and Muhammad Irfan were playing gamble in a local hotel when police raided for the arrest of an absconder but caught them red handed while playing gambling.
