Tsunami March and Inqlaab, sit-ins will also flop: Shahbaz Sharif

CM PUNJAB Shahbaz SharifLahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that people have rejected those indulging in the politics of protest by showing indifference with untimely long march and so-called revolution. He said that the collusion of Imran-Qadri is a conspiracy against democratic system which will never succeed. He said that Imran Khan, demanding unconstitutional technocrat government, is violating court decisions. He said that the demands of Imran Khan and Qadri are unconstitutional. He said that like Tsunami March and so-called Inqlaab, sit-ins will also flop.

The Chief Minister said that people have given mandate to Pakistan Muslim League-N. He said that Imran Khan has disappointed due to disassociation of the people from long march. He said people have proved by burying the protest, negative and confrontational politics that they will not allow anyone to create hindrance in the development process of the country. He said that the demand of resignation from elected Prime Minister is undemocratic and unconstitutional. He said that the secret of future of Pakistan lies in the democracy and democratic system. He said that the solution of problems in politics is found through dialogue and mutual understanding.

He was talking to a delegation of PML-N Assembly Members, here today. Shahbaz Sharif said that so-called revolutionaries are creating a bad name for the country. People know well that who is creating chaos in the country and who is serving selflessly, he added. The Chief Minister said that at present, Pak Army is fighting a war against terrorists and a conspiracy of dividing the nation has been hatched by launching long march. He said that the country needs stability and not anarchy. He said that in the present circumstances, the country cannot afford anarchy or chaos. He said that the unity is much needed today than ever before.

Shahbaz Sharif said that economic activities are being affected in the country due to untimely long march and so-called revolution. He said that the friendly countries are also upset on the present situation of Pakistan. He said that the enemies of development of the country and the nation are hatching conspiracies for creating instability. He asked Imran Khan to leave stubbornness. He said that the insincerity of protesting elements has exposed to the nation.

The Chief Minister said that negative attitudes in the politics are harmful for the stability of the country and democratic system. He said that the elements working against national interests will have to be stopped through unity. He said that this is not the time for protest and sit-ins rather to steer the country out of the quagmire of problems. He said that politics of protest is harming the economy of the country. He said that the elements hatching conspiracy of confrontation on Independence Day wanted to deprive the people of their joys but they failed in their nefarious designs. He said that those making Independence Day controversial cannot be well-wisher of the country and the nation.

Shahbaz Sharif said that those dreaming unconstitutional steps will once again be disappointed. He said that using the women and children by a so-called revolutionary as a shield is neither politics nor humanity. He said that those elements are the claimants of so-called Inqlaab march who looted national exchequer ruthlessly and made the country bankrupt during dictatorial era. That is why, those political elements have joined “Revolutionaries” who got waived off loans of billions of rupees on political grounds.

The Chief Minister said that revolution cannot be brought by making collusion with those who committed dacoities in the banks and plundered national wealth in the name of development projects. He said that brave forces of the country are making efforts to make Pakistan a haven of peace by sacrificing their lives in the war against terrorism whereas on the other hand, the protesting elements are bent upon to destabilize the country through negative and confrontational politics. He said that speedy completion of socio-economic development projects is the real worry of protesting elements.

Shahbaz Sharif said that he has served the masses during six years and expressed the hope that with the support of 18 crore people of the country, conspirators will have to face humiliation.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that he is deeply thankful to Pakistan Muslim League-N workers of Gujrat, Kharian, Jhelum, Gujar Khan and other cities situated on GT Road for maintaining peace. He said on his appeal, even despite provocations of the opponents,
PML-N workers by showing patience and restraint have proved that they are patriotic in the real sense.

He was talking to Assembly Members here today. The Chief Minister said that the politics of chaos and confrontation has caused loss of billions of rupees to the national economy. He said that people have the right to ask who is responsible of the loss caused due to long march and sit-ins. Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N government is determined to the country’s development and we want to take along all for reconstruction of the country.
