Lahore: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has condemned attack on Imran Khan’s convoy, and said that tradition of pelting stones at rallies should not be made. He demanded action against those involved in it and asked PML-N leadership to direct its activists to remain cautious because miscreant elements could take advantage of the situation.
In his statement issued from Islamabad, Khursheed Shah said that Pakistan People’s Party could not support resignation of Prime Minister. “I think Prime Minister will not step down”,he added.
Khursheed Shah said that PTI chief Imran Khan had demanded Nawaz Sharif to resign as Prime Minister of Pakistan. He is holding Azadi march on Islamabad to press his demand,that was his democratic right,he maintained.
PPP leader said that Khan had also demanded members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to step down.
