Motorway Police hold Flag March in collaboration with Independence Day

Lahore: In a bid to ensure solidarity and celebrations of Independence Day with national spirit and zeal Motorway Police, Central Zone has organized a flag march on National Highways, Lahore.

Zonal Commander DIG Bashir Ahmed Memon & SSP Muhammad Inkisar Khan led the march, which was organized on the directives of Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema.

All Sector Commanders (SSPs) including Chief Patrolling Officer and personnel of NH&MP   also attended the flag march in their respective areas.

The officers of the mobile education unit and briefing officers at Toll Plazas distributed national flags, flowers along with briefing material and pamphlets with road safety slogans.

On the occasion of DIG Bashir Ahmed Memon said small gifts packs , flag leaflets and pamphlets bearing messages related to occasion, would be distributed among the road users at all toll plazas.

DIG said national flag would be displayed on all official vehicles including patrolling mobiles of NH&MP from 12 to 14 August, 2014 and all sector commanders would arrange rallies on August 14, 2014 to celebrate Independence Day in their respective sectors.
