PHF Selection Committee spotted players for the Asian Games

Lahore: The trials to select the final lineup of Pakistan hockey team for participation in the 17^th Asian Games were held at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium Islamabad on 13^th August 2014. The National Selection Committee has spotted following players for the Asian Games:-

PLAYERS:

GOALKEEPERS: Imran Butt & Amjad Ali; FULL BACKS: Muhammad Imran (Capt), Muhammad Irfan & Aamir Shehzad. HALVES: Ammad Shakeel Butt, Muhammad Tousiq, Fareed Ahmed, Rashid Mahmood, Muhammad Rizwan Jr. & Syed Kashif Shah. FORWARDS: Muhammad Waqas Sharif, M. Umar Bhutta, Shafqat Rasool (Vice-Captain), Abdul Haseem Khan, Muhammad Dilber, Shakeel Abbasi & Muhammad Rizwan Senior = 18

To commemorate the Independence Day (Youm-e-Azadi); Pakistan Hockey Federation will organise an Exhibition Match between Pakistan Green & Pakistan White hockey teams at JOHOR TOWN HOCKEY STADIUM on 17^th August 2014 at 1900 hours in the floodlights. For the smooth conduct of the match, the PHF has detailed following Panel of Technical Officials:-
