Martyred cop’s funeral will be held at PindadanKhan tomorrow in the morning

Lahore: An Elite police constable Muhammad Fayyaz s/o Ghulam Rasool, aged 39 years, has been martyred by PAT workers who are incessantly attacking Punjab police for the last 24 hours.

Shaheed Fayyaz was born in 1975 in district Jehlum Tehsil PindadanKhan, (Sahotrah). He joined Punjab Police as constable in 1999 at the age of 24. He left behind a son 04 years, a 03 years daughter and a widow.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has announced financial assistance of one crore rupees for the heirs of constable Fayyaz who was martyred due to torture by workers of Awami Tehrik in Bhera. Paying tributes to the services of constable Fayyaz, the Chief Minister said that the deceased has sacrificed his life in the performance of his duties. Shahbaz Sharif also announced financial assistance of Rs.5 lakh each for the police officials injured at Bhera. He also ordered to provide best treatment to the injured free of cost. His funeral will be held at his ancestral place Sahotrah, Tehsil Pin dadan Khan, District Jehlum tomorrow 10-08-2014, at 10:00 a.m.

While paying rich tribute to the martyred constable Inspector General of Police Punjab Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera said that the sacrifice rendered by Fayyaz Shaheed will always be rembered in the department. He declared Fayyaz Shaheed as a valuable asset for the force.
