Lahore: Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafiq has said that independence celebrations will continue throughout the month under the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-N for highlighting ideology of Pakistan among young generation in which women, workers of labour, traders and other wings and elected representatives are participating enthusiastically. He said that people are becoming enthusiastic as the 14th August is coming nearer.
He said that while talking to media on the occasion of inaugurating Jashn-e-Azadi camp at Model Town, today. Besides local office-bearers of
PML-N, women and youth were present in large numbers. National flags were hoisted on the occasion. Kh. Salman Rafiq distributed national flags and badges among the people travelling by cars and motorcyclists passing on the road. He said that national flags and badges will continue to be distributed for creating national spirit among the people.
Replying to a question, Kh. Salman Rafiq said that the entire nation is standing with Pak Army which is fighting against terrorists but some elements are using tactics for creating chaos among the nation. He said it is the need of the hour that maximum solidarity should be created among the nation at this critical juncture of the history so that the entire nation could eliminate terrorists unitedly. Kh. Salman Rafiq said that those opposing PML-N government are, in fact, against the development and prosperity of the country. He said that the journey of development and prosperity cannot be stopped through long march and sit-ins. He said that nation will not allow to derail democracy for the lust of power and people will not be hoodwinked.
