MNA Pervez Malik and Shaista Pervez Malik leads anti-dengue walk

Lahore: Member National Assembly, Pervez Malik and Shaista Pervez Malik led anti-dengue walk from Shalimar Town to Shalimar Chowk. MPA Ch. Bao Akhtar, Ch. Shahbaz Ahmad, AC Shalimar Town Abdullah Nayyar besides heads of various departments, elite, teachers and students participated in the walk. Before start of the walk, MNA Pervez Malik termed the death of renowned journalist Dr. Majid Nizami as a great loss for journalism and offered Fateha for the departed soul. 

During the walk, MNAs and MPAs distributed anti-dengue awareness pamphlets among the people in hotels, shops and travelling in cars. The walk ended at Shalimar Chowk and various teams of Town Administrations were sent to nearby graveyards.

Pervez Malik said that people will visit graveyards on Eid day to offer Fateha, therefore, it is necessary to protect them from dengue virus. He said that anti-dengue teams will perform their duties on Eid days and play their due role for eradication of dengue.
