Workers are an asset of Muslim League-N: Raja Ashfaq Sarwar

Lahore: General Secretary Pakistan Muslim League-N Punjab and Provincial Minister for Labour Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that workers are an asset of Muslim League-N and have played a vanguard role for the progress and prosperity of the country. Muslim League-N will celebrate the Month of Independence with the consultation of its workers, district presidents and office-bearers, he added.

He expressed these views while presiding over second meeting of independence month committee set up by Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and meetings of district presidents and General Secretaries of Muslim League-N from all over the province today.

Provincial Minister for Zakat & Usher Malik Nadeem Kamran, Minister for Industries Chaudhry Shafique, Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Population Minister Zakia Shahnawaz, Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique, President Muslim League-N Youth Wing Ghulam Hussain Shahid, Parliamentary Secretary Information Rana Muhammad Arshad, MNA Pervaiz Malik, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Rana Ijaz Hafeez, Sauood Majeed, Merry Gull, Sirdar Ramesh Singh Arora, Taufeeq Butt, Members National and Provincial Assembly and district presidents and general Secretaries of PML-N from all over the province were present on the occasion.

On the instructions of head of Pakistan Muslim League-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, schedule of independence month celebrations has been announced in the meeting and functions, rallies and public gatherings will be held at Provincial Headquarters throughout the province during the whole month. The main function of Independence Day would be held at divisional and district levels on August 14 which include flag hoisting and other ceremonies.

A meeting of district office-bearers showing outstanding performance would be held with Punjab Chief Minister in which their efforts will be especially appreciated.
