Govt do not allow registration of FIR of any heinous crime: Ch Brothers

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have strongly condemned the cruel and brutal crime of chopping off both hands of minor child over ordinary dispute in village Bhola of Gujrat.

They said in a joint statement here that the govt do not allow registration of FIR of any heinous crime like Model Town tragedy. They described this brutal act as a consequence of worst law and order situation in the province and said that when innocent political workers would be shot at the govt level this trend would also be promoted among ordinary people.

The PML leaders said this was rather deplorable that whereas FIR of Model Town tragedy has not been registered even after lapse of more than one month so far, there were also reports that even after passage of four days FIR of this brutal crime has also not been registered which indicated the attitude of the present rulers regarding implementation of the Constitution and the law. They have demanded that FIR of this regrettable crime should be registered according to the application of the complainant against the accused and the culprits should be given exemplary punishment accordingly.
