Lahore: Chairman Lahore Transport Company, Kh. Ahmad Hassan has said that on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab, 30 trucks loaded with 216 tons fodder, have been dispatched to Bannu for the livestock of North Waziristan IDPs. He said that an amount of Rs.9,445,275/- has been distributed among 698 affected families today.
He disclosed this while talking to media-men on the occasion of dispatching third consignment of fodder for the animals of IDPs. He said that with the dispatch of this consignment, the target of sending 500 ton fodder has been achieved.
Kh. Ahmad Hassan said that philanthropists are depositing amounts in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and the process of assistance will continue till complete rehabilitation of IDPs. Kh. Ahmad Hasaan said that he has donated Rs.5 lakh from his pocket while Rs.95 lakh have been donated by the people of his constituency in Chief Minister Relief Fund.
He said that Eid Package is also being prepared for the IDPs which will be dispatched before Eid.
