Ministers visit continued in Ramzan Bazars

Lahore: On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Provincial Ministers paid surprise visits to Ramazan Bazaars in different cities and reviewed quality, prices and availability of daily use items.

Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mian Yawar Zaman visited Ramazan bazaars of Kasowal and Iqbalnagar, district Sahiwal and checked the stalls of essential items. Later, he also visited Ramazan bazaar at Maileywali Gali, Bahawalpur.

Provincial Minister for Cooperatives Malik Iqbal Channar also accompanied him. Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din paid surprise visits to Ramazan bazaars of Hafizabad and Kalayki Mandi and checked the quality and prices of fruits, vegetables and other items.

Special Assistant Muhammad Arshad Jatt visited Ramazan bazaars of district Okara and district Muzaffagarh and inspected the stalls. He particularly checked the stalls of chicken, mutton, beef and eggs. He told that district livestock officers and staff are performing monitoring duties for monitoring the availability of meat and eggs in Ramazan bazaars. He said that eggs and chicken are available Rs. 12 per dozen and Rs. 20 per kg respectively in Ramazan bazaars cheaper than the open market.
