Guinness world record holder Rashid Naseem returned home

Removed by Head in One Minute’ in the Guinness World Record show in Milan, Italy, has returned home on Friday.

In a statement, Rashid said that Sports Board Punjab (SBP) was doing a brilliant job by organizing multiple national and international events and definitely its performance and efforts must be acknowledged at  its performance and efforts must be acknowledged at Rashid expressed his gratefulness to Director General Sports Punjab

(SBP) Usman Anwar for providing him a suitable platform to show his rare talent. “Certainly, it is a big distinction and it all happens only due to the patronization of Sports Board Punjab and DG SBP Usman Anwar, who offered every possible help and guidance to me”, he Rashid told that he was ready to perform for Pakistan whenever he got an opportunity. He dedicated his new Guinness record to his country

.“Representing Pakistan especially in a foreign country is a remarkable distinction. I can’t express my feelings in words when I broke my own record in front of Guinness officials in Milan. The Guinness officials and organisers were quite impressed after watching my emotional affiliation with my country,” he added. “It’s the great victory for the entire nation not my own,” he said in an emotional Explaining his future plans, Rashid said that he and his team will continue to work hard for future performances. “I will try to create more new records for my country in future,” he promised. “It’s my great wish that Punjab Youth Festival (PYF) should be staged every year. There are several individuals including myself, teams and groups who want to perform in different capacities to earn good name for their country and PYF is the only suitable platform for this purpose,” he described.

To another question, Rashid said that he will do whatever he can to earn respect for his beloved country. “Pakistan has given us identity and now it’s our turn to repay in the same way,” he said in a determined tone. Rashid’s previous world mark was 40 bottles in one minute which he registered in 2012 Punjab Youth Festival but now he removed caps of 61 bottles by head in 60 seconds. Rashid was assisted by Mujtaba and Junaid during the world record performance. It is to be noted here that Sports Board Punjab (SBP) had a major role in Rashid’s incredible Guinness records. SBP provided Rashid and other athletes a suitable platform to exhibit their skills and the talented

youth of Pakistan availed these opportunities with both hands and scripted several world records in 2012 and 2014 editions of Punjab Youth Festival.
