Guinness record holder Saadi determined to excel in Italy show

Lahore: Representing Pakistan at international level is a big honour and I will not disappoint the nation whenever I get this opportunity, this determination was expressed by Pakistan’s Guinness World Record holder Muhammad Saadi while talking to Media on Monday.

Saadi will fly to Italy on July 11 to demonstrate his world record of pulling a 1700 kg mini truck upto 63 meter path with his moustache in the Guinness World Record show at Milan.

Saadi, who pulled a 1700 kg mini truck up to 63 meter path in Punjab Youth Festival 2012 edition and won the worldwide applaud, expressed his gratitude to Director General Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Usman Anwar  for providing him a suitable platform to show his rare talent. “I was waiting to exhibit my skills and powers since long but my dream turned into reality in 2012 when SBP invited me to demonstrate my moustache powers,” he added.

Today, Guinness officials have invited me to Italy. “Undoubtedly, it is a big distinction and it all happens only due to patronization of Sports Board Punjab and DG SBP Usman Anwar, who extended every possible help and guidance to me”, he elaborated.

Saadi told that he was training hard for the Italy show. “I’m preparing myself quite effectively for the grand show and insha-Allah I will do whatever I can to earn respect for my beloved country. Pakistan has given us love and identity and now it’s right time for us to respond in the same manner. I will do my best to make my countrymen proud abroad,” he said in a determined tone.

It may be recalled here that Guinness Book World Records has invited individuals with peculiar feats in the Guinness World Record show at Milan. Pakistan’s two Guinness World Record holder Muhammad Saadi and Rashid Naseem will represent the country in the grand show.
