PU awarded PhD degree to Ifra Mushtaq

Lahore:Punjab University has awarded PhD degree to Ifra Mushtaq D/o Mushtaq Ahmad in the subject of Communication Studies after approval of her thesis entitled “The Role of TV News in Promoting Deliberative Democracy in Pakistan: Impact on Citizens’ Quality of Opinion and Political Participation”. Director Institute of Social & Cultural Studies Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar and former Chairman of PU Mass Communication Department Prof Dr Shafique Jullandhry were the supervisors.

Meanwhile,Punjab University Examinations Department has issued the schedule of admission fee & forms of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) Final Professional annual examination 2014. According to detail, the last date for submission of admission forms of said exam with single fee is 8-9-2014 while the forms can be submitted with double fee till 12-9-2014. Commencement will be announced later.
