A revolution could not be stopped for long in the country: Siraj ul Haq

Pic Sirajul HaqLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Siraj ul Haq, has said that around seven lakh IDPs from North Waziristan were facing extreme hardships and the general public and well to do must step forward to mitigate their sufferings.

Addressing the Friday congregation at Mansoora mosque, he said that the well to do families had been constrained to queue for one time meal and Purdah observing ladies were lying in the open awaiting help and relief. He said that the Al-Khidmat Foundation had set up relief camps for the affected people and were extending every possible help to them.

The JI chief said that if the rulers abandoned US slavery and became slaves of Allah, Pakistan could merge as world power in a short time. He noted that the 1973 constitution was Islamic but the rulers were persistently violating it. The constitution laid down that all powers rested with Allah.

However, the rulers had taken all powers in their hands, and were continuously acting against the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah.

Siraj ul Haq said a revolution could not be stopped for long in the country. He said that some so called revolutionaries had emerged on the scene to create confusion but the path of an Islamic revolution could not be obstructed.
He announced that the JI would hold a large public meeting , a peoples assembly and a Jirga at the Minar e Pakistan in November next to decide that the country could no more continue with the present Hippocratic system and western democracy and must switch over to Caliphate and the Shariat rule.

He said that during the last 65 years the country had experimented capitalistic, system, democracy as also dictatorial rule but it had not achieved a respectable status in the world community as had been envisioned by those who rendered huge sacrifices for this Muslim homeland. Feudal lords, capitalists and smugglers were dominating the country and exploiting its resources for elfish ends. The rulers had plundered public money and deposited the same in foreign banks. The situation called for an uprising.

The JI chief said that the US had been defeated and it would meet the fate as was met by the Soviet Union. He said, it was an irony that the US which espoused the cause of human rights and civil liberties, had put to death million of Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine.
