Shahbaz Sharif is a proved liar : Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said Shahbaz Sharif has been proved a liar on the basis of his Principal Secretary’s statement in the Model Town tragedy, he should have moral courage, US President Nixon on his lie being established had apologized to the nation and resigned, revolution would be constitutional and legal, all were unanimous over joint struggle, contacts also being made with Imran Khan, we had taken revolutionary measures including 1122 during our tenure whereas today fed up with the govt of lies and fraud govt servants including doctors, teachers and nurses were on the roads.

He said this while addressing a press conference along with Dr Tahirul Qadri, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Raja Nasir Abbas, Hassan Mohyuddin Qadri and other leaders in the Minhajul Quran Secretariat here today.

He said 10 points agenda was in accordance with the Constitution and our govt had implemented five out of ten points in Punjab, we provided free medicines in the hospitals and free education, during our tenure doctors, teachers and nurses were not on the roads, we have implemented revolutionary agenda and we have got experience also. He said our party’s stance regarding revolution was very clear and we have alliance with Allama Dr Tahirul Qadri.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that the Chief Minister, who was not aware about what was happening in the next street, he should resign, Principal Secretary to Shahbaz Sharif has admitted in his statement before the Judicial Commission that he (Chief Minister) was kept informed minute to minute about Model Town tragedy, in the Watergate Scandal US President Richard Nixon had to step down from the President’s office on allowing tapping his opponents, he had also apologized to the nation but Shahbaz Sharif do not have enough moral courage that he should apologized to the nation and tender his resignation. He said blood of the innocent people would speak, there was no such instance in the history of Pakistan that the Prime Minister or the Chief Minister give order shooting down of own citizens, they would certainly be made accountable before Almighty Allah.
