A decisive war against terrorism is continuing in the country: Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that decisive war against terrorism is continuing in the country and there is dire need of national unity and consensus in these circumstances. He said that all religious and political parties should come on one pitch in war against terrorism so that the menace of terrorism could be eradicated forever. The entire nation is supporting Pak-Army in its action against terrorism, he added.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Tanzeem-ul-Akhwan-e-Pakistan led by its convener and Nazam-e-Aala Silsala-e-Naqashbandia Awaisia Abdul Qadir Awan at Model Town office today.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said time has come that nation should decide whether it has to move ahead in the journey of development and prosperity by taking task to terrorists and enemies of development or once again hoodwinked by claimants of sit-ins and fake revolutions. He said that trends of sectarianism, extremism and intolerance are negation of democracy and destruction for the future of the nation and the country. He said that Ulema and religious scholars will also have to play their role for the eradication of these trends.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his team are making sincere efforts for bringing the country out of quagmire of problems but some politicians in lust of power are out to detract the country in its journey to development. People fully know these political opportunists and are not ready to become a tool in their hands, he added.

Talking on the occasion, Abdul Qadir Awan said that people of Pakistan have a sagacious and sincere leadership in the shape of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that policies of Prime Minister are a guarantee to an enlightened Pakistan and PML-N leadership is running country affairs in right direction with correct vision. He said that the entire Muslim Umaah is seeing towards Pakistan as if Pakistan overcomes terrorism and extremism then the entire Islamic world will seek guidance from it. He said that it is the responsibility of every patriotic Pakistani to supplement the efforts of government at this critical hour. The nation and the government should fully support Pak-Army as it is writing a history of sacrifices and achievements in the war against terrorism, he added.
