PU tells “Interview Skills & CV Writing”

Lahore: Punjab University Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP) and Center for Clinical Psychology (CCP) in collaboration with the Department of Library & Information Science (DLIS) has organized a workshop on “Managing Qualitative research with Nvivo 10” at IAP.

On this occasion Director IAP and CCP Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar, Chairperson DLIS Prof Dr Kanwal Amin, DLIS Assistant Prof Dr Shafiq ur Rehman, faculty members, MS/MPhil/PhD scholars and students were present.

Dr Kanwal given lecture on “Overview of the Qualitative Research” followed by an extensive workshop conducted by Dr Shafiq.

Later, Dr Rukshana thanked the resource persons and presented them with souvenirs. Punjab University Career Counseling & Placement Centre has organized training workshops at Department of History, Department of Library & Information Science and Institute of Social & Cultural Studies on “Interview Skills & CV Writing” while in Hailey College of Commerce on “Self Exploration”.

The workshops were attended by a large number of students. On these occasions trainer Qasim Ali Shah, Atif Mirza and Farhan Shabbir gave some fruitful tips to the students.

Later, Chairman CCPC Dr Abdul Qayyum Choudhry and Career Development Officer Hasnain Javed said that training workshops would be helpful for better future of students.
