Pu holds Seminar on thalassemia awareness

Lahore: Punjab University Institute of Social & Cultural Studies has organized a seminar on thalassemia awareness.

On this occasion Dean, Faculty of Behavioral & Social Sciences Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar, Member Provincial Assembly of Punjab Mian Naveed Ali, renowned film Producer and Director Syed Noor, Dr Rubeena Zakar, faculty members and large number of students were present.

Dr Zakria welcomed the guest and briefly talked about the importance of preventive strategies of thalassemia.

Syed Noor discussed the importance of thalassemia prevention by using various medium of performing arts.

The participants termed the seminar was very successful in initiating effective discourse on thalassemia prevention program.
