Imran Khan is wasting time of the nation : Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that PML-N government has started journey of rapid development. He said that Pakistan will move ahead of regional countries in the development in the next four years. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is leading the nation with the same spirit as he had refused to bow down every pressure on the occasion of nuclear blasts and long march for restoration of judiciary, he added.

He expressed these views while addressing a function held in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer under the aegis of PML-N at Aiwan-e-Iqbal here today.

Member National Assembly Muhammad Pervaiz Malik, Nasir Saeed, Muhammad Ali Mian and other leaders also spoke on the occasion. A cake based on the model of Chagi Mountains was also cut in the memory of nuclear blasts conducted by Pakistan in 1998. A large number of workers from all over the province were also present on the occasion.

Addressing as a chief guest, Hamza Shahbaz said that PML-N government believes in performance instead of hoodwinking the people. He said that those doing politics with the nation in the present situation are enemies of progress and prosperity.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that in 1998, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had made the defense of Pakistan impregnable by rejecting greed and pressure of the entire world especially America in respond to Indian atomic explosions. He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is focusing on development and performance instead of power and Nandipur Power Project is its example.

He said that former government ruined the project for the sake of commission but Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif made this project viable with the cooperation of China which is going to start production of electricity during the current month. He said that the investment of 35 billion dollars by China in Pakistan reflects its confidence in the policies of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He said that proposed Diamir Bhasha Dam Project on River Indus will be an excellent gift for the nation due to which our future generations will lead a comfortable life. He said that government has allocated funds of Rs. 33 billion for this dam. He said that PML-N government has launched development projects of billions of rupees in the country during one year and no one has proved corruption of even a single penny against us.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that those criticizing metro bus project will have to face historic metro train service in Lahore. He said that this project of 1.6 billion dollars will be completed with the cooperation of China in 27 months. He said that Imran Khan is wasting time of the nation by leveling allegations of rigging in the public meetings.
