Fauzia Waqar condemns stoning of a women to death

Lahore: Chairperson Provincial Women Commission, Fauzia Waqar has strongly condemned stoning of a 25 years old woman to death by her family members outside the Lahore High Court.

In a statement here today, Fauzia Waqar said that murder of women in the name of honor is a serious issue of the country. She said that perpetrators of such crimes and violators of human rights deserve deterrent punishment. She said that women have equal basic rights. She said that every possible step will be taken for the protection of women.
