Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of molestation and murder of a 12-year-old girl in Ghakar Mandi, Gujranwala and sought a report from RPO Gujranwala. The Chief Minister said that justice will be provided to the aggrieved family at any cost.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the news regarding torture and slapping of a doctor in a hospital of Samundri Faisalabad by Rao Kashif Raheem MPA and his companions and sought a report from Secretary Health. The Chief Minister has also ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Meanwhile, Emergent office bearers meeting of PMA Lahore was held at PMA House Lahore. Dr. Muhammad Tanveer Anwer chaired the meeting.
The office bearers strongly protested on the criminal offense by the treasury MPA Rao Kashif on the duty doctor at THQ Hospital Samandari and demanded immediate arrest on account of offence on duty doctor, interference in official work and threating and abusing govt. official.
The office bearers urged the Chief Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif to take serious action against the MPA by suspending his representative status and registering an FIR against him on this non bail-able offence. The provincial council meeting of PMA Punjab is being convened to decide further line of action on the issue.
