Siraj ul Haq criticizes Nawaz Sharif for visiting India

Lahore: Ameer, jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has criticized Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to India, and termed it a hasty step in the backdrop of Narendera Modi’s open anti-Islam and anti Pakistan outbursts.

In a statement here, Siraj ul Haq said that BJP leader had been continuously  rubbing salt on the wounds of the Muslims both in this country and Kashmir.

The JI chief however counseled Mian Nawaz Sharif to try to minimize the harm of his visit by not confining him to photo session and boldly placing before the Indian leadership the nation’s principled stance on the Kashmir and river water issues. Besides,  the Premier should also meet the Hurriyat Conference leadership and take them into confidence.
