Taliban may attack on Tahir ul Qadri rally:Punjab government

Lahore: Punjab government has warned people not to join Pakistan Awami Tehrek rally as there is  a threat of occurrence of any untoward incident during the rally.

According to a circular of Home Department Punjab, there are security threats to the rally of Maulana Tahir ul Qadri. The circular sent by Home Department to Maulana Tahir ul Qadri and his sons states that according to the reports of intelligence agencies, there is a threat of occurrence of any untoward incident during the rally.

It may be mentioned that Taliban have already issued a Fatwa against Maulana Tahir ul Qadri.

Meanwhile, Punjab government has decided to enforce emergency in all the hospitals of the province on Sunday. According to the spokesman of Punjab government, security will be at high alert in the province on Sunday. He further said that 1122 and other rescue agencies have also been put on high alert to cope with any unexpected situation.
