Mir Shakil ur Rehman could not black mail me: Imran Khan

Lahore: Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that Mir Shakil ur Rehman should avoid his character assassination and said that I have been fighting in the playground for 20 years, he could not black mail me. He said that Geo and Jang Group have always played a negative role in this society and they have been working for People’s personal interest. He raised the question in the press conference that why Head of geo’s employee Najam Sethi was made CM of Caretaker government in Punjab and why he was made the Cricket chairman and then Geo super got the cricket contract. Chairman Imran Khan said that Elections could not be held free and fair under administration of this kind of care taker government and he blamed Geo responsible for rigged 11^th May general elections.

He said that I appeared in front of court to ask according to which law orders were given to again stop the recounting of NA-122.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that those involved in rigging the last election should be subjected to article-6.

He was talking to media representatives during his visit to a local PTI leader here on Tuesday night. PTI leader said that only free and fair elections were the real safeguard of the democracy. Chairman Imran Khan said that on May 11 the PTI will present charter of demands, which will help in strengthening democracy in the country and bring transparency in general elections.

Imran Khan said that the struggle for ‘change’ will restart on May 11 from D-Chowk (Islamabad). He averred that the PTI is not launching the movement to gain government, but to strengthen Pakistan. “Those who think that the tsunami has died down will be shocked to see a huge crowd on May 11 and the movement of change will not end till a real change takes place in the country,” he added.

PTI Secretary General Jehangir Khan Tareen, PTI General Secretary Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Ticket Holder Hamid Zaman,  Dr. Seemi Bokhari, Farrukh Javed Moon, Dr. Farooq Tahir Chishtie, Sania Kamran, Aawn Chaudhry, Ishtiaq Malik, Shehryar Raza, Naveed Ahmed, Irfan Ahmed, Luqman Qazi, Farhan Chishtie and other PTI Office bearers and workers were also present.

Earlier Imran Khan appeared in the court of Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Omar Ata Bandial for his petition where PTI workers created mess tht made the CJ unpleasant who remarked “this is court where every one come and bow”.This kind of attitude is unbearable.The CJ also noticed the event and sought report from the concern party.
