Secretary Cooperative presided over a meeting of Anti-Dengue Response Committee Iqbal Town

Lahore: Provincial Secretary Cooperative Babar Hayat Tarar presided over a meeting of Anti-Dengue Response Committee Iqbal Town.

Addressing the meeting, he said that a calendar has been issued with regard to anti-dengue awareness campaign and functions during current month. He said that on May 4 pamphlets and kits were distributed in Sunday bazaars of Iqbal Town.

Parks and green belts of the town will be cleaned on May 5 whereas junkyards will also be checked.

Checking teams will check cleanliness arrangements in all hotels and restaurants of the town on May 7.

Factories will be inspected on May 8 whereas mosque day and truck day will be observed on May 9 and 10. Inspection of unoccupied buildings will be carried out on May 12 whereas clinics and dispensaries will also be checked.

Godowns will be checked on May 13, nurseries on May 14, marriage halls on May 15 whereas lectures regarding dengue will be delivered in mosques on May 16, 17 and 18. Seminars will be held in all schools and colleges of the town on May 19.

Checking of swimming pools will be conducted on May 20, graveyards on May 22 while mosque day and Sunday day will be observed on May 23, 24 and 25 while IRS day on May 26 and sensitive union council day on May 27.
