The team of eight cyclists left for Gujranwala

Cycle RaceLahore: Director General Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Usman Anwar saw the cyclists off to their ultimate destiny, which is Islamabad. The cyclists reached Lahore from Muzaffargarh on April 28. Before leaving for Gujranwala, the cyclists also had a meeting with Usman Anwar, who told them that the Sports Board Punjab was doing its best to provide the youngster a proper platform to show and excel in different fields of life.

“The Punjab Youth Festival (PYF) 2014 is part of the same plan during which the youth have shown to the world that they are the most disciplined nation and they possess a talent seen nowhere in the world,” he maintained.

Later before seeing them off to Gujranwala, Usman Anwar gave souvenir to the cyclists.

Talking to media, head of the team Latrif Sial said that the Punjab Youth Festival was a unique activity that has provided the youth a platform that has never been available for them. “DG Usman Anwar deserves praise for holding such an activity.” The cyclists including Latif, Azhar Hussain, Waqas Basher, Allah Bachaiya, Ghazanfar Abbas and Asif Sial then left for their onward journey.
