PPP’s government did nothing for eliminating loadshedding: Kh Imran Nazeer

Kh Imran NazeerLahore: Members Provincial Assembly, Shahbaz Ahmad and Kh. Imran Nazir have said that Firdaus Ashiq Awan’s party government did nothing for eliminating loadshedding. He said that PPP government pushed the nation into darkness by demonstrating criminal negligence in Nandipur Power Project.

Commenting upon the statement of Firdaus Ashiq Awan, Shahbaz Ahmad and Kh. Imran Nazir said that PML-N government is pursuing the policy of eliminating loadshedding from the country. They said that present government has made a number of agreements with Chinese companies for launching energy projects.

They said that immediately after coming into power, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif convinced Chinese company to start Nandipur Power Project which will start producing 100MW electricity from May. They said that previous PPP government did not take any practical step for eliminating loadshedding during its five years’ tenure whereas PML-N government is working round the clock to eliminate loadshedding.
