Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have said that our armed forces were trustee (amen) of our national security and sovereignty, enemy and anti of Pak Army was enemy and anti of Pakistan, because of great sacrifices of officers and jawans of the armed forces we were breathing in free atmosphere in Pakistan.
In their messages on the Youm-e-Shuhda of the armed forces, they said that every Pakistani who loves Pakistan and believes in the national security and solidarity was today paying heartfelt tribute as well as expressing gratitude to the martyrs of the armed forces who had sacrificed their day for our tomorrow and offered sacrifices of their lives in the performance of their sacred duty of safeguarding independence, security and geographical territory as well as overcoming internal rifts.
Both the PML leaders said today alongside the Shuhda, we also salute the parents, brothers and sisters and children of the Shuhda, entire nation was grateful to them and this was a matter of pride for every Pakistani also that the sacred soil of their motherland had given birth to these jawans.
Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi further said that those criticizing and humiliating the officers and jawans of the Pak Army should first look upon themselves. They said those institutions clamouring about freedom and sovereignty should also not forget that their present freedom and sovereignty was also due to the Shuhda of the Pak Army because Pakistan was free and sovereign due to their sacrifices also.
