Police arrest arms smugglers from Shahdara

Lahore: CIA police have arrested two arms smugglers  from Shahdara and recovered heavy contingent of the illicit arms .Police have registered the case and started investigation.

According to the spokesman,CCPO Lahore Ch Shafique Ahmad Gujjar have directed the CIA police to work on the arms smuggling so heinous crimes rate could be down.

SP CIA Omar Virk constituted a special team for the arrest of the arms smugglers who received information that a heavy consignment of latest weapons would be smuggled to Lahore today by GT Road.On that information,CIA police set a picket on GT Road near Sagian

Bridge and found modern automatic weapons from a suspected car and arrested the arms smugglers Noor Khan and Mazar Khan.

It is pertinent to mention here that both the smugglers were doing arms smuggling from Peshawar to Punjab since long.

CCPO Lahore have appreciated the police team and announced commandery certificates for them.
