AIR CHIEF CALLS ON PRIME MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN

Lahore: Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force called on Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Mr Artur Rasizade today.  Both the dignitaries remained together for sometimes and discussed various matters of   defence and military cooperation. The Air Chief assured high officials of Azerbaijan of strengthening military as well as civilian cooperation between the two countries in general and the two Air Forces in particular.

Later in the day, the Air Chief called on Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, Defense Minister Azerbaijan and Major General  Ramiz Tahirov, the Air Forces Commander of Azerbaijan.

Earlier, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force who is on a three day official visit to Azerbaijan, also visited  Defense Ministry, Military Academy of the Armed Forces Azerbaijan, High Military School, and Education and Training Center of the Armed Forces.
