Land record centers starts providing services to the masses

Lahore: A spokesman of Project Management Unit, Board of Revenue has said that under the guidance of Chief Secretary Punjab and Senior Member Board of Revenue, computerized facilities of issuing ownership deed and verification of transfer deeds are being provided to the people through land record centers in 102 tehsils of the province whereas such services will be provided in all tehsils at the end of current year.

The spokesman said that the implementation and monitoring of computerization of land record project is being reviewed in DCOs’ meetings at divisional headquarters and steps were discussed to further improve it. He said that all possible steps are being taken for further improving the performance of Revenue Department’s officials.

He said that all departments including Revenue department are extending cooperation for land record management and information system due to which the project is being implemented successfully.
