Annual dinner of Chawala Mathematical Society held at GCU

Lahore: The Chawala Mathematical Society (CMS) of Government College University, Lahore has arranged its annual dinner here at the university’s Salam Hall. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman was the chief guest at the dinner, while Department of Mathematics Chairperson Dr Muhammad Aslam, CMS adviser Dr Saifullah, faculty members and a large number of students were also present.

Addressing on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman said that teachers needed to reform their role and also concentrate on the students’ character building. “Little deeds have huge impact and your small contributions in social services would be resulted in form of better and improved future not only for you but also for next generations,” he advised the students. Later, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman gave away certificates to the members of Chawala Mathematical Society of GCU.
