PTI slays load shedding in Punjab

Lahore: Ejaz Ch President PTI Punjab said that the PML-N government which had protested against load shedding when PPP was in charge now broken all records of load shedding as before the actual summer heat is on the load shedding heat is full on. He said that the governments claim that by paying off the circular debt of 480 billion rupees they had overcome the major issue of energy shortfall was proven wrong when 10 to 12 hours of load shedding started in the cities while the rural areas were facing much more load shedding.

He said that already the circular debt had to 300 billion rupees again and the government had unannounced an unscheduled load shedding also. He said that t all the claims of the government that the economy has proven wrong as inflation was all time high due to increase in the electricity tariff.

He said that it was entirely the mismanagement of the minister Abid Sher Ali who instead of managing the problems of load shedding was on a mission of victimizing provinces specially KPK without any evidence and without any homework on their own performance in Punjab. He said instead of running off to the Sindh and KPK Abid Sher Ali should sit down with his team and discover that the real problems of the electricity lies within his own department and his own lack of knowledge and awareness about which the province is the biggest culprit of the electric theft.

Dr .Yamin Rashid Gen Sec PTI Punjab said that load shedding had destroyed the industrial output and many of the industries like the textile were giving advertisement every single day appealing to the government to save the industries from total loss but supplying electricity so that they can fulfill their export items. She said that Sharif family and its relatives lived in palaces where with the tax payer money they were spending billions on their own security and nonstop electricity they were completely unaware of the problems of the common man.

Andleeb Abbas Sec Information PTI Punjab said that the Chief Minister Punjab should be taken to task by Abid Sher Ali as in the National Assembly has revealed the highest number of electricity theft cases were registered in Punjab s amounting to 87000 cases out of which only 4000 cases had been acted upon. She demanded that the Chief Minister explains why police and the law enforcing agencies were not perusing these thieves and how many of them belong to the Ittefaq group of industries and their friends and families.

She said that the CM should again now go to Minaret-Pakistan and protest against load shedding as he did in the PPP government. She demanded that an immediate reduction in the load shedding take place so that people can at least continue with their work without interruption.
