CM gives deadline to model town division police

Security personnels are collecting evidence from the spotLahore: CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has given deadline of ten days to model town division police for the arrest of the culprits who who blasted the shop of Momin Khan at Pakistani chole,Ichra for not paying extortion money.

Momin Khan was being threatened for not paying one million the extortion money despite the fact the accused had fired at his home too.He had informed the police all the facts and requested for protection but police did not bother and took this matter in a routine too.

When he gave the numbers to police from he was receiving threatening calls, the accused doubled the extortion money and demanded two million but he refused to accept the demands and went to police again and again for protection  and resultantly his shop was bombed in which 16 people were injured and number of vehicles and shops damaged.

when the media reported the case ,CM took notice of the incident in China and as he arrived in Lahore,he presided over law and order meeting at Lahore Airport and made it clear to authorities if police failed to arrest the culprits in ten days then all the responsible officers including SP Model Town Tariq Aziz,DSP Ichra,SHO Ichra would be taken to task who miserably failed to protect the law abiding citizen. CM had the opinion that crime like extortion money could not be bear at any cost.

It is pertinent to mention that traders of Ichra had shutted the bazaar after this bomb blast for the arrest of the accused and PML-N leaders including Khawaja Ahmad Hassan visited the place and promised the strikers that he would bring the matter into the knowledge of CM and assured,justice will be done.Upon PML-N leaders commitment the traders had ended the strike.
