FC College’s Prof.Qazi Salah uddin passed away

Lahore: Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League and Chairman of Senate Defence Committee, Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed has called teachers a national asset and said that no nation can be considered civilised until and unless they give due respect and dignity to teachers, who are the role models for the young generation.

He was offering condolence to Artist, Cartoonist and ex Deputy Director of PNCA, Misbah uddin Qazi, on the sad demise of his brother Prof Qazi Salah ud din in Lahore.

The Senator, who also graduated from the FC College acknowledged that being Head of Department (Islamic Studies), the contribution of Professor Qazi for character building of students was matchless. One of his nephews, Sabah uddin Qazi, serves PML House, as Media Coordinator, in Islamabad.

A large number of students and relatives belonging to Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and Hyderabad attended the Namaz-e-Janaza.
