Health Department to deal visitors with respect:Dr.Ijaz Munir

Lahore: Secretary Health Punjab Dr. Ijaz Munir has directed the officers of Health Department to deal with the visitors with respect and courtesy who come to the department for the solution of their problems. He said that non-courteous attitude of the officials with the applicants would not be tolerated.

He said this while presiding over an introductory meeting of the officers of Health Department at Civil Secretariat on Monday.

Special Secretary Health Farasat Iqbal, Additional Secretary Development Ghulam Farid, Additional Secretary (Admn.) Khawar Kamal, Deputy Secretaries Raja Mansoor, Syeda Malaika, Dr. Shoaib, Dr. Mohsin, Dr. Nasir Shakir and other officers attended the meeting.

Secretary Health directed that all the officers / officials should observe office hours and discipline strictly. He said that there is need to improve the things in the department for which the officers and the officials have to work with more dedication and professional skill. He said that laxity and delay in disposing of official work would not be tolerated at any cost. He directed the officers that they should monitor the working of their wings and he himself will also strictly monitor the performance of all the officers. He said that “we have to dispel the impression of the community that in Health Department no work is being done”.

Dr. Ijaz Munir directed that a complete human resource data base of the Health Department should be prepared for urgent disposal of file work. He hoped that all the officers / officials of the department would perform their duties with hard working and full dedication. Secretary Health stated that the doors of his office are open for everyone and any person can meet him for the solution of his problem.
