Senior Journalist Ijaz Rizvi takes his last breath

Lahore: Senior Journalist Ijaz Rizvi has passed away at the age  78 years.His funeral was offered at Muslim Masjid Lohari and he was buried near the Wasif Ali Wasif sherine in Mayani Sahib graveyard.A large number of people from all walks of life attended his funeral including Shahid Malik,Khawar Naeem Hashmi,Qudrat Ullah Ch,Khadim Hussain,Iqbal Bukhari,Malik Gulam Sarwar Awan,Sohail Butt,Taseer Mustafa.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Ijaz Rizvi, senior journalist.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that the services of late Ijaz Rizvi in journalism will be remembered forever. He prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
