Motorway Police seized 3,200 kg of dead chicken’ meat and arrested nine criminals

Lahore: The National Highways & Motorway Police, Central Zone have seized 3,200 kg of dead chicken’ meat and arrested nine criminals on national highways near Okara.

According to detail, the NH&MP patrolling officer Asgher Ali and M Shahid while on routine patrolling spotted Hunyadi Dalla No LRT- 9433, LWN-3572 and LES-2975. During the search of the vehicles 3200 kg dead chicken’ meat were recovered from their custody. The patrolling officers also captured nine criminals namely Zafar Ullah , Imran ,Muhammed Boota r/o Nankana , Abdul Razaq , Muhammed Ammir,  Shukat Ali r/o Shakihpura and Khawer,Khalid , Saeed r/o Lahore.

On the initial investigation the criminal’s reveled dead chicken meat was being prepared for supply to various sale points like marriage halls and hotels. The local veterinary doctor who was called also confirmed that the said chicken is not good for sale. All three vehicles laded with dead chicken meat along with nine criminals were handed over to local police for further legal proceedings.
