Three cops injured in shootout

Lahore: Some armed personnel have made successful escape along with their arrested fellow after injuring three cops in a shootout here at Mian Munshi Hospital.The injured cops were being admitted at Mayo Hospital for treatment.

Shafiqabad police have registered a case against the attackers and started investigation.

According to the police Lahore Camp Jail inmate Muhammad Zaman was not feeling well  so he brought to Mian Munshi Hospital for treatment by the cops on security  duty where the prisoners aides came and sprinkled red chilli on their eyes ,snatched the handcuff and opened fire on the the cops over their resistance. And fled the scene, the injured policemen were shifted to Mayo Hospital for medical assistance
