Lahore(22-03-2014):Minister for Information and Broadcast Senator Pervez Rasheed has said that PML-N government will resolve all the issues of Journalist Housing Society,he was talking to media here at Lahore Press Club’s programme “Meet the Press”.
President LPC Arshad Ansari,vice president Afzaal Talib,Secretary Shahbaz Mian,Joint Secretary Farzana Ch,member GB Khawaja Naseer,Rizwan Khalid ,Imran Sheikh, President PUFJ Afzal Butt,President PUJ Waseem Farooq,senior journalist Sikandar Hameed Lodhi,Shafique Awan,Zulfiqar Mehtu,Javaid Farooqi and others were present at the occasion.
The minister said a CM of PML had given the land for Lahore Press Club and inaugurated the building while the other CM will inaugurate the cafeteria,and new hall.He assured that journalists all problems including salary,wage award ,contract,insurance and pension will be resolved on priority basis.
At the occasion,President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari appreciated Senator Pervez Rasheed’s the services for the journalist community and announced honourary life membership for him.
