Pakistan has the most effective Asian banking system: Rana Mashud

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Education, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that banking system in Pakistan has become the most effective Asian banking system as regards provision of the latest facilities to consumers.

While talking to the media after inaugurating ATM facility at Allied Bank Samanabad Branch Lahore, the Minister said, federal government of PML-N will continue to act upon the policy to provide maximum credit facilities to the common man through scheduled banks. He expressed satisfaction over the fact that the oldest bank in this region with the name of “Australashia Bank” in 1942 has made remarkable progress with the name of Allied Bank Ltd., and has excelled in adopting the latest banking services to the consumers.

Group Head of Allied Bank (Business) Tahir Yaqub Bhatti informed that 800 branches of Allied Bank are operating in Punjab while 200 more branches would become operational during the current year. Group Head Operations Ms. Nuzhat Sherwani, Regional Head (Business) Hunsain Raza, Regional Head Operations Faisal Ghauri and Branch Manager Ghazanfar Hayat Sheikh apprised the new bankers of useful tips of successes in the banking sector.
