Women should be treated equally as men:PML-N women MPA’s demand the government

Lahore: A meeting was held under the leadership of provincial minister Madam Zakia Shahnawaz in which it was said that in our society women were not treated equally as men .

The elite class ladies have the opinion that  in backward areas they were facing serious problems about inequality related education, jobs, marriage related decisions, food, clothes etc.Now the time has come to raise voice at every platform for women rights to enjoy equal rights as men in the society.

PML-N MPA Hina Parvez Butt said that women of Pakistan in the mainstream of economic, social and political spheres as equal citizens of Pakistan. MPA said Punjab Women’s Parliamentary Caucus to be established to bring change in this regard.

She added that a resolution for Punjab Women’s Parliamentary Caucus would be presented in Punjab Assembly on 7th March a day before International Women’s day. Uzma Bukhari and Hina Parvez Butt elected as convener and Gen Secretary for Punjab Women’s Parliamentary Caucus. Women from PPP, PTI and PMLQ were also equally part of this caucus.
