PAF Base Faisal defeated Pakistan Aeronautical Complex by 5 wickets in Inter-Base T-20 Cricket Championship

Lahore: The final of PAF Inter-Base T-20 Cricket Championship was played between Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra and PAF Base, Faisal at PAF Complex Cricket Ground Islamabad today.  PAF Base Faisal defeated Pakistan Aeronautical Complex by 5 wickets.

The final match was a close contest and had a thrilling finish. Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra scored 117 runs for the loss of 06 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Zaheer and Sajid were the top scorers with 34 and 31 runs respectively. Zafar and Khalid got 02 wickets each. In reply, PAF Base Faisal achieved the target in the 19^th over for the loss of 5 wickets. Asif played a brilliant 38 runs innings and took his team to the victory stand.

Air Marshal Asim Suleiman, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Administration), Pakistan Air Force was the chief guest of the final match. The chief guest awarded prizes among the winners of the tournament. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest congratulated all the participating teams for showing such healthy sportsman spirit. He further said that PAF was effectively playing its part in promoting different games within PAF and its sportsmen were bringing laurels for the country at international level. 18 teams participated in the tournament.
