Lahore: An Investiture Ceremony was held at Air Headquarters, Islamabad, in which Non Operational Military awards were conferred upon the Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, Senior Non Commissioned Officers and Civilians of Pakistan Air Force for their distinguished services. Air Marshal Athar Hussain Bukhari, Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
In the Ceremony, Chief of the Air Staff Commendation Certificates were conferred upon 74 Officers, JCOs/Airmen & Civilians.09 Proficiency Excellence Badges to PAF Officers, 09 Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-II and 04 Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-III were conferred to JCOs and SNCOs. These awards are conferred in recognition of the acts of extreme devotion to duty rendered by the Officers, JCOs/Airmen and Civilians of Pakistan Air Force, hence contributing towards the improvement of the overall efficiency of the service. Large number of PAF personnel attended the ceremony.
