People worried due to price hike:PML-Q Punjab

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) Punjab has expressed great concern over price hike of essential articles and deteriorating law and order situation and demanded of the govt to ensure protection of life and property of the masses.

This deep concern was expressed by the PML Punjab in its organizing meeting held here today at the Muslim League House under the chairmanship of General Secretary Ch Zaheeruddin Khan. The meeting was attended by Senior Vice-President Muhammad Basharat Raja, Additional General Secretary Nasir Mahmud Gill, Information Secretary Seemal Kamran as well as Presidents and General Secretaries of the Wings among others.

The meeting reviewed the progress regarding organizing tours of 13 districts including re-organization and membership campaign and decided to celebrate the Quiaid-i-Azam Day on December 25 in a befitting manner.

Ch Zaheeruddin Khan and Muhammad Basharat Raja expressed satisfaction over the performance of the wings and district organizations regarding reorganization and districts tours.

The leaders said that Pakistan Muslim League will Insha-Allah emerge as a organized political force in the next general elections. They said that the people having belief and faith in the ideology and thinking of the Quaid-i-Azam and Muslim League were very much worried over N-League govt performance. They further said that Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi were the hope of the people who love Muslim League.

The meeting offered “fateha” for the departed soul of PML Punjab Women Wing President and former MPA Shahana Farooqi.

The meeting was attended by Khwaja Tahir Zia, Lawyers Wing President Alamagir Advocate, Women Wing General Secretary Syeda Majida Zaidi, Traders Wing President Shaikh Umar Hayat, Youth Wing Central President Bilal Sheerazi, Provincial President Zulfiqar Pappan, Labour Wing General Secretary Sajjad Baloch, Minorities Wing President Engineer Shehzad Elahi, Women Wing Lahore President Amna Ulfat, Muslim Students Federation (MSF) President Sohail Cheema while Kissan Wing was represented by Rao Iftikhar.
