Price hike and lawlessness breaking all records: Ch Parvez Elahi

Ch Pervaiz Elahi Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that price hike, lawlessness and unemployment are breaking all records, no programme can be successful if intention is not right, peaceful and prosperous Punjab of our tenure has now become tribal area law and order situation-wise.

Talking to PML leaders and workers, Ch Parvez Elahi said that the people are fully aware that they are being benefitted only through such welfare projects and programmes which were launched and successfully completed first time in the history of Punjab and Pakistan during our tenure.

Expressing great concern over prevailing state of lawlessness in the province, Ch Parvez Elahi said today traders and businessmen were the most unsafe segment than all whose life and property were not safe from dacoits, institution of police has not only become ineffective but destroyed completely, as compared to our govt incidence of heinous crime has increased manifold.

Ch Parvez Elahi visited residences of former member of Azad Kashmir Assembly Haji Shafi and PML leader Shaikh Pervaiz Azmat in Gujrat yesterday to condole their demises. He offered “fateha” for the departed souls and praying for patience for the bereaved families, Ch Parvez Elahi said that he shares their grief and sorrow. Afterwards, he visited the residence of Nauman Aslam Gondal and expressed heartfelt regrets to him over dacoity committed with him.

Ch Parvez Elahi also visited residence of Malik Zulfiqar Awan and congratulated over marriage of his daughter.

He was accompanied by former Provincial Education Minister Mian Imran Masood, Khalid Asghar Ghural, Muhammad Ashraf and other leaders also.
