Imran Khan should not waste the time of the nation on rallies and sit-ins

Lahore: PML-N central leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that elimination of loadshedding is essential for benefiting from GSP Plus Status in the real sense. He said that the government is attaching top priority to overcoming energy problem and activating industrial and trade sector. He said that the government believes in trade partnership with other countries and the present leadership during its foreign tours has always emphasized on this fact. He said that every crisis being faced by the country can be resolved through collective efforts of politicians, businessmen and the masses.

He expressed these views while addressing Pak-German Business and Trade Relations Forum at a local hotel, here today. Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan Dr. Cyrill Nunn and important business personalities were present on the occasion. The function was jointly arranged by Punjab Board of Investment and Trade and Pakistan-German Business Forum and was a part of Pakistan Day celebrated in Berlin and Munich in October this year.

German Ambassador Dr. Cyrill Nunn also spoke on the occasion. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif thanked Germany for its support for granting of GSP Plus status to Pakistan. He said that the present government believes in good governance and service to the masses as it is only through coming upto the expectations of the people that it will be able to go to the court of the people after five years. He said 80% of the population of Punjab comprises youth and revival of economic activities is essential for saving them from unemployment and extremism. He said that the government is following the policy of zero tolerance to corruption. He said that the new records of development will be set throughout the country on the pattern of Punjab during the next five years.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif further said that stability of democracy is necessary for strengthening of institutions. He said that Pakistan will ultimately win the war against terrorism. Talking to media, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that granting of GSP Plus Status will result in benefit of billions of dollars to Pakistan. He said that Imran Khan should accept the verdict of the people instead of raising hue and cry about rigging and fulfill his promises to the people of KPK. Imran Khan should support the government in solution of the problems and refrain from criticizing the government only on the basis of its six months performance. He said that Imran Khan should not waste the time of the nation on rallies and sit-ins.
