Training programme for the Judicial Officers,lawyers concludes

Registrar at PJA 12-12-2013Lahore: A two days joint training programme for the Judicial Officers and Advocates of Lahore under the directions of Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan concluded here today at Punjab Judicial Academy.

Registrar Lahore High Court, Sardar Ahmad Naeem was Chief Guest on the second day.

Speaking on the occasion he underlined the need for early dispensation of justice in order to mitigate the suffering of the litigant public who are major stakeholders of the system of justice in the country. He also distributed certificates among the participants at the concluding ceremony. The Law and Justice Commission had directed that joint sittings of the Judges as well as Lawyers be arranged at the divisional level.

Maiden joint training workshop aimed at improving the decision making mechanism was held in the provincial metropolis while such congregations will also be hosted at Lahore for the divisions of Multan, Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi shortly.

The first session was attended by 29 Civil Judges-Cum-Judicial Magistrates posted in the City and 19 advocates hailing from Lahore. The training workshop was held under the aegis of Access to Justice Development Fund.
